This morning we had Johnathan and crew out. Always a pleasure with these guys. Loaded the wells and stopped on some readings with just a few bites. Took a ride and found a big spread of fish that wanted to chew. Guys went to work with multiple hookups for a few hours boxing an easy limit and releasing a few more dozen to around 28# on live bunkers. Once we ran out of bait caught a few more on lures before calling it an early morning.
April 18 -- Tough AM - Different PM

This morning we had our open boat guys out. After yesterday’s fishing, we had high expectations. Had zero visibility fog for the first half of the morning. Bounced around looking, but never found the life we had yesterday and despite the guys fishing hard only landed a handful of fish. A very tough morning and thank you to the guys for sticking with it.
This afternoon’s boat was totally different. Managed to load the wells right away, and found a nice body of fish to work. Picked away on every drift landing just under 2 dozen fish to 25#. Kept one for the table and released the rest.
April 17 -- Limit ++ To 20#

Great morning with Dennis, Bob and crew. Steady pick most of the morning with some bigger fish starting to show. New body of fish pushing in and hungry. Boxed an easy limit and released a few more dozen into the mid 20# range. All on swym and chubby shads.
