It is customary to tip the mate 20%.
Prices are based on a fuel price of $5.00/gallon or less. If fuel exceeds $5.00 per gallon a fuel surcharge will be applied of no more than $75 per trip (excluding offshore trips).

3% will be added to all balances paid by credit cards.
A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your inshore charter and $500 for offshore trips. The deposit must be received within 7 days of contacting the Captain or the date will not be held. A 50% non-refundable deposit will be required for open boat trips.
Customer cancellations with less than 10 days notice will result in loss of deposit (no refund). Customer cancellations with more than 10 days notice will be re-booked on a later date that is agreeable between both parties. All trips that cannot be re- booked will be re-booked for the next year and deposits will carry over. There are no refunds.

The Captain reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inclement weather. Trips canceled by the Captain will be rescheduled on a mutually convenient date. If none is available, deposits will be carried to the following season.
B & D Charters operates under the Coast Guard zero tolerance policy regarding illegal substances. No illegal substances are permitted and will result in the termination of the charter.
No hard liquor is permitted aboard the boat. Beer is limited to 4 12 ounce cans per angler. If any passenger becomes intoxicated (as determined by the Captain) the boat will return to port with the full amount of the trip being charged.
With the current regulations requiring anglers to have fishing licenses, B & D charters will obtain the licenses necessary for you to fish in New Jersey and New York waters. Therefore, no one fishing aboard the Fisher Price IV will need to have an individual license from either state.
What to bring:
Sunglasses - Sunscreen - Camera - Sea sickness pills - Cooler to bring home your catch (to be left in your vehicle until the end of the trip) - Food and beverages ( No hard liquor. Beer limited to 4 12 ounce cans per angler.) - Rain gear - Sneakers or deck shoes, no hard sole shoes
No illegal drugs. No firearms
Tackle and bait are provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Catch will be filleted and bagged by the boat.
