Great day of trophy bass fishing. Morning was a little slower but managed to land a handful of fish to 46# and lost a few. This afternoon started slow but became a full on blitz with a few dozen slobs releases ranging from 33 to 47#. This is an absolute incredible fishery we have and are blessed to have it in our backyard.
Had the Big Dog and boys from @pellsbaitandtackle out this morning for a trophy trip and everything fell into place for them. One of the sickest bites we’ve ever had. Everyone onboard with new personal bests, dozens of fish in the 40# class released with biggest tipping the scale at 52#.
Another good day on the bass grounds. Big slob fish in the morning and good live line action with keeper sized fish in the afternoon with dozens of releases. Have two weeks left to get in on the striper action before we start our offshore and fluke season.
