Very good bass fishing again today. Started the morning off on some good readings but the fish were very hard to catch, only landing a few nice fish to 42”. Had to do some searching but eventually found a load of fish that wanted to eat. The guys had steady action with fish ranging from shorts to 45”. Kept a few for the table and had many releases. The guys fished their asses off and we’re greatly rewarded

April 2 -- Bass-- Good AM/PM Fishing

AM - This morning Ron and friends had the first trip of the season. Started off jigging a few smaller fish before the fishing got tough. Put out the plugs and had immediate action with keeper sized fish to 36" and some shorts with many released. Once the guys had enough we jigged a few more to release before calling it a morning.
PM - Our open boat guys in the afternoon saw some good action and they worked their butts off for it. Casting an assortment of artificial lures, they were able to box their limit of keepers, and release a few more dozen fish ranging from 23" to 42".
